1. Introduction

Welcome to Global Learning and Development Solutions (“GLDS”, “we”, “our”, or “the Consultancy”).

These Terms and Conditions govern all consultancy, coaching, training, educational, leadership, curriculum, research, digital learning, assessment, mentoring, facilitation, and related services provided by Global Learning and Development Solutions.

By booking, purchasing, commissioning, or participating in any service provided by GLDS, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Scope of Services

GLDS provides professional consultancy and development services including, but not limited to:

  • Educational consultancy 
  • Leadership development 
  • Organisational transformation 
  • Assessment and curriculum design 
  • Research mentoring and academic consultancy 
  • Team-building programmes 
  • Resilience and wellbeing training 
  • Digital learning development 
  • Coaching and mentoring 
  • Workshops, seminars, conferences, and retreats 
  • Learning resource creation 
  • Online and face-to-face training 

All services are delivered professionally and in good faith using the expertise, knowledge, and experience of the Consultancy.

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1 Booking Confirmation

Appointments, workshops, consultancy programmes, and training sessions are only confirmed once:

  • A booking has been accepted by GLDS; and 
  • Full or agreed deposit payment has been received. 

3.2 Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Individual appointments must be paid in full before the session. 
  • Organisational projects may require: 
    • A non-refundable deposit of 30%–50% 
    • Interim payments for longer projects 
    • Final payment prior to delivery of final materials. 

3.3 Late Payments

Late payments may result in:

  • Suspension of services 
  • Delayed delivery of materials 
  • Additional administrative fees 
  • Cancellation of future bookings 

GLDS reserves the right to charge reasonable interest or recovery costs on significantly overdue invoices where permitted by law.

4. Refund Policy (Important)

4.1 No Refunds Policy

Due to the bespoke, intellectual, strategic, consultative, creative, and time-based nature of our services:

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

This includes:

  • Consultancy sessions 
  • Coaching sessions 
  • Workshops 
  • Training programmes 
  • Curriculum development 
  • Research mentoring 
  • Digital products 
  • Learning resources 
  • Educational content creation 
  • Organisational reviews 
  • Retainer services 
  • Event bookings 
  • Away days and retreats 

Once preparation, scheduling, strategic planning, resource allocation, intellectual input, or service delivery has commenced, refunds cannot be provided.

4.2 Exceptional Circumstances

At the sole discretion of GLDS, credits or rescheduling options may occasionally be offered in exceptional circumstances. Such decisions do not create an obligation for future cases.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Client Cancellations

Clients may request rescheduling with a minimum of:

  • 48 hours’ notice for individual sessions 
  • 7 days’ notice for workshops or organisational bookings 

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5.2 Missed Appointments

Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will be treated as a completed appointment and no refund or replacement session will be provided.

5.3 Consultancy Cancellation Rights

GLDS reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule sessions where necessary 
  • Substitute facilitators where appropriate 
  • Cancel services due to illness, emergencies, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond reasonable control 

In such cases, alternative arrangements or credits may be offered.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, documents, presentations, training resources, methodologies, assessments, teaching materials, research frameworks, graphics, digital products, and consultancy outputs created by GLDS remain the intellectual property of Global Learning and Development Solutions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients may not:

  • Reproduce 
  • Sell 
  • Redistribute 
  • Modify 
  • Commercially exploit 
  • Share publicly 

without written permission from GLDS.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and relevant information 
  • Participate respectfully and professionally 
  • Meet agreed deadlines where collaboration is required 
  • Ensure appropriate permissions for organisational projects 
  • Maintain confidentiality where applicable 

GLDS reserves the right to refuse or terminate services where behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, threatening, unethical, or inappropriate.

8. Professional Boundaries and Disclaimer

GLDS provides consultancy, educational, developmental, and strategic services.

We do not guarantee:

  • Specific examination results 
  • Guaranteed promotions 
  • Guaranteed business outcomes 
  • Guaranteed organisational transformation 
  • Guaranteed funding success 

Outcomes depend upon multiple factors including implementation quality, organisational context, participant engagement, and external conditions.

Clients remain responsible for decisions and implementation arising from consultancy advice.

9. Confidentiality

GLDS respects client confidentiality and will not knowingly disclose confidential information except:

  • Where required by law 
  • Where safeguarding concerns arise 
  • Where disclosure is authorised by the client 

Clients are likewise expected to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary materials and consultancy processes.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

GLDS is committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection principles.

Client information may be used for:

  • Appointment management 
  • Communication 
  • Service delivery 
  • Billing and invoicing 
  • Improvement of consultancy services 

We do not sell client data to third parties.

11. Online Sessions and Digital Delivery

Clients are responsible for:

  • Stable internet access 
  • Suitable devices/software 
  • Appropriate learning environments 

GLDS is not liable for interruptions caused by external technical failures beyond reasonable control.

Sessions may not be recorded, redistributed, or publicly shared without permission.

12. Workshops, Retreats, and Away Days

Participants attending physical events, retreats, or outdoor activities acknowledge:

  • Participation is voluntary 
  • Reasonable health and safety instructions must be followed 
  • GLDS is not responsible for personal belongings 
  • Certain activities may involve light physical participation 

Participants should disclose relevant medical or accessibility needs in advance where appropriate.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • GLDS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from services provided. 
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service. 

14. Force Majeure

GLDS shall not be held responsible for delays or inability to perform services caused by events beyond reasonable control including:

  • Natural disasters 
  • Severe illness 
  • Government restrictions 
  • Technical failures 
  • Industrial action 
  • Emergencies 
  • Acts of God 

15. Amendments to Terms

GLDS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will become effective upon publication or distribution.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom.

Return and Refund Policy

 

Returns and Refunds Policy

Global Learning and Development Solutions

At Global Learning and Development Solutions, we are committed to delivering high-quality professional consultancy, training, educational, and developmental services. Due to the bespoke and intellectual nature of our services, the following Returns and Refunds Policy applies.

1. No Refunds Policy

All payments made to Global Learning and Development Solutions are non-refundable.

This policy applies to:

  • Consultancy sessions 
  • Coaching and mentoring services 
  • Leadership development programmes 
  • Curriculum and assessment development 
  • Teaching and learning materials 
  • Workshops and seminars 
  • Team-building events 
  • Retreats and away days 
  • Research and academic support services 
  • Digital learning products 
  • Downloadable resources 
  • Custom educational content 
  • Organisational development services 

Once a booking is confirmed or work has commenced, refunds cannot be issued due to the allocation of professional time, expertise, planning, intellectual input, and scheduling commitments.

2. Customised and Digital Services

Many services provided by GLDS are:

  • Tailor-made 
  • Digitally delivered 
  • Intellectual and consultative in nature 
  • Instantly accessible upon delivery 

As such, these services are not eligible for return or refund once:

  • Materials have been shared; 
  • Access has been granted; 
  • Work has commenced; 
  • Sessions have been delivered; or 
  • Digital products have been downloaded. 

3. Rescheduling Policy

Clients may request to reschedule appointments or sessions provided that sufficient notice is given:

  • Individual appointments: minimum 48 hours’ notice 
  • Workshops/events: minimum 7 days’ notice 

Rescheduling is subject to availability and may only be permitted once unless otherwise agreed.

4. Missed Appointments

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment, workshop, or session without prior notice will be treated as a completed service.

No refunds, credits, or replacement sessions will be provided for missed appointments.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare and exceptional situations, GLDS may, at its sole discretion:

  • Offer a rescheduled appointment; 
  • Provide a partial service credit; or 
  • Apply a future booking adjustment. 

Such arrangements are entirely discretionary and do not constitute a waiver of this policy.

6. Event and Retreat Bookings

For retreats, away days, conferences, and team-building events:

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable; 
  • Final balances are non-refundable within 14 days of the event date; 
  • Client substitutions may be permitted where appropriate. 

Any external venue, accommodation, transport, or catering costs already incurred may also remain payable.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes for services already delivered, commenced, scheduled, or agreed upon.

GLDS reserves the right to provide documentation, correspondence, contracts, invoices, and evidence of delivery in response to payment disputes.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy removes any statutory rights applicable under relevant consumer protection legislation.
